Following graduation, Dr. Fritts practiced in the heart of Amish country in Indiana before moving with her fiancé to Idaho in the fall of 2017. In 2019, the couple made the move to Kansas City to allow them to pursue their respective career goals and be closer to family. So far, they’re thoroughly enjoying life in the Kansas City metro and take every opportunity they can get to explore local shops and restaurants, visit the art museum, or have a beer at a craft brewery. Dr. Fritts and Dr. DeYoung have a lot of animals: Layla, a Craigslist retriever, Ivy, a resuce pitbull, Spike, a chihuahua saved from death row, and Olive Tooster, a dumpster kitten with whom Dr. Fritts is in a constant power struggle. When not exploring Kansas City, you can find Dr. Fritts walking her dogs, taking a yoga class, reading a book, knitting a scarf, or watching The Office.
