What Our Lab Tests For

Veterinary laboratory tests are used to evaluate a variety of different body functions and tissue abnormalities. Routine lab testing usually evaluates basic organ function. For example kidney, liver, pancreas, adrenal, and thyroid functions are evaluated with the aid of blood tests. The CBC gives us a look at red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. An in-house laboratory is available when quick, accurate results are required. We also use several outside lab facilities when more specialized tests are needed. Biopsy samples are sent to board certified pathologists for evaluation.
